  1. you need buy domain name and hosting. after that unpack files and upload this via ftp. how to install read on off. site: http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress if you don't have domain/hosting use this service: http://wordpress.com/
  2. wallajob said it right. Do those steps and you're good to go. If you don't know how to do part of it, feel free to e-mail me and I'll be happy to help you out.
  3. The easiest way is to do the following: 1. Get a domain name ($10/yr - www.namecheap.com). Pick something short, easy to say out loud without confusion (so not something where you use a "4" instead of "for" in the name for instance). 2. Get a web hosting account ($10-$20/month - www.hostgator.com or others) that offers a feature called "Fantastico". This allows you to easily install Wordpress (and a bunch of other software) in a couple of clicks. No need to download Wordpress from their site...Fantastico handles all the hard work for you. :) 3. Login to web hosting account's control panel, install Wordpress using Fantastico and configure settings as needed. 4. Download and install free themes to change the look of your site (google for "free wordpress themes") 5. Download and install plugins to give site additional features if you want (google for "wordpress plugins") I have a DVD tutorial available @ http://www.easyguidetoblogging.com where I explain all of this in detail or you can search online, at forums and so on if you have the free time. (Much of the information is free if you're willing to look around for it.) You can also use wordpress.org but I recommend hosting your own site - more flexibility, no restrictions on themes, plugins, etc. Congrats on getting started with Wordpress. It's an awesome piece of software and you'll love it once your site is up and running. Hope that helps.
