can I make unregistered users able to post to be moderated in my wordpress blog with a form on the homepage?

I would like to make my users able to post in my wordpress blog without need to register. I would like to have a form in my homepage to let them put a quick post, to be added to a moderation queue visible by the blog admin only. How can I do this?

  1. If you're using Wordpress 2.0, here's what you need to do: 1. Login to your Wordpress Blog account 2. Go to Options -> General 3. Scroll down until you see the title Membership. Unselect the checkbox that says "user must be logged in to comment" Select the checkbox that says "Anyone can register". So basically what you're doing is that you are giving permission for anyone to join your Blog, and once he becomes a user/member, this person does not need to be logged in to comment And notice there is a "New User Defautl Role". So basically you can assign anyone who joins your blog as an Editor or Author, and this will allow them to post As to your 2nd question, to incorporate a form, few ways to do it. One is to edit the theme file yourself, and 2nd method is to look for a theme that has a form for people to comment. My Wordpress Videos tutorials teaches you all this and more.
