- WPRemix is a great customisable CMS theme for Wordpress. Unfortunately, it's not free.
- I use a package called Semiologic which is both a theme and a package of tested plug-ins. This product costs $295 and is well worth it. Wordpress, as you know, is open source. It is updated every 4 weeks or so and you customize the software using plug-ins. Semiologic automates the process of updating (no more ftp uploads) and Denis, the programmer, tests and tweaks the plug-ins. I have blogged with Wordpress the old way and the $295 is a no brainer. The cost, by the way covers as many blogs as you want to publish. I use this theme for blogs, two podcasts and a video bog. It is also optimized for SEO and my most active blogs generate a lot of organic traffic.
