How do I get my Wordpress blog onto my own personal site?

I have a fairly successful blog on Wordpress and I would like to create my own site and start creating revenue with ads. I have heard that it is possible to import my current blog to my new site, but I'm not very tech-savvy in that sense. I want my site to be completely focused on my blog. What is the easiest, best way for me to do this? Any particular suggestions for software?
