I run a wordpress blog on my own website- can I have its tags searchable from wordpress.com?

I'm wondering how to best expose my blog to the rest of the blogosphere. Is it possible to add my tags into Wordpress's database? How about search engines? Is there anything special I can do to ensure that the search engines index my page? Anything special to setup on wordpress? I know when I set up a blog at wordpress.com, the site asked me if I would like to have the blog indexed by search engines...

1. Hi! Yes, there is a lot that you can do to intro your blog to blogosphere. I recently joined Blogcatalog, which provides great coverage: http://www.blogcatalog.com Definitely check that the search engines have you. 2. Have you tried Entrecard? It's a free advertising network. There is also BlogRush, AdGridwork, Spott and others. (entrecard.com, blogrush.com, spottt.com, adgridwork.com)
