wordpress blog?

from whre do i download apche software .is it sufficient to handle blog or i will need to download few more

1. To use wordpress you need a webserver app such as Apache and a database management system such as MySql. If you paid for your webhosting, I'm sure these two applications are already installed for you. You just need to upload your wordpress files there and install wordpress... 2. Your hosting company should already have Apache installed. Be sure to request a "Linux" server, NOT a "Windows" server, at your web hosting company. Then it should have Apache and MySQL. If you don't have a hosting company yet, I recommend DreamHost. They have a 1-click install process for WordPress which is very easy.
