How do I make a search bar for my web site using my own custom image?

I found this tutorial, http://megatutorials.blogspot.com/2007/04/stylish-search-bar.html that shows you how to make your own search bar, but how do I actually get it to work? Also, if I've already coded a layout in ImageReady with my own custom search bar, how do I get that to work as well (ex: http://brandyweb.net/wordpress)?

U can do it but it won't be very easy the tutorial of making the search bar creates the images only but those images won't search alone :) U need to write a code with Ur self to make U on click on he search word makes it search really and if U can't do that U can download a free code of Google search or yahoo search ( available ) and then replace their images path to Urs and it will work good too
