Can i Use the Wordpress application on wordpress.org to manage my blog on wordpress.com?

I have a blog on Wordpress.com and i heard about this program on wordpress.org. So i was wondering if you can use the wordpress program to update, post, and edit my Blog. I currently use a mac, jus to let you noe..
