My nameservers are pointed at the free host and the domain is parked there. Typing in mydomain.com loads my WordPress index at mysite.freehost.com but this domain is no masked. All of the WordPress URLs are then displayed relative to mysite.freehost.com. My question is how to have these addresses masked (e.g. have mysite.freehost.com/a/b show up as mydomain.com/a/b). I am working on a website, but one of the requirements is that i have is to be able to show announcements on a separate page. What I want to do is, make a site that is separated into three columns, and each column shows posts from three different categories. What would be our best option ? I've researched a bit myself ( although I know nothing about programming ) and see it is possible to move files to other locations and so on, but still we are afraid we will loose content or pictures for example. Therefor we now consider starting up a new blog under livethelife.tv and copying the files there and still keeping our existing blog, to also keep our rankings. Can somebody advise us ? And assist us ? Maybe it's not bad to start up a new one, because we want to we want to do some changes also, or additions .... - we want to create an upload form for our agents, so they can upload their real estate or accommodation listings themeselves. We cannot use the existing write post, we want to use a fix form, so they have to follow our rules ( big pictures, min number of pictures, full description.... ) and all listings are the same. - we also want a separate contact form for each listing , or this can probably be integrated in the upload form. Now we use one contact form and ask our visitors to fill in the ref we mention in the post, but they mostly don't do this and like that follow-up is very difficult. - we want to integrate a google map Please is there someone out there that can assist us ? We are busy researching since 2 months and still don't have anybody that can help us. Using Wordpress, how do I make my about page the same format as my home page? I currently use wordpress.org with the hosting service of globat.com. Now, I have my home page set to be the wordpress blog. However, their is a tab on the home page for an "about" page. WordPress Question, Please? Can someone answer this about WordPress? I'm trying to upload a new theme and I have cPanel. The instructions say: "In cPanel File Manager, navigate to your themes folder. If you have WordPress installed in it's own folder called wordpress, you would navigate to "public_html/wordpress/wp-content/themes... and if WordPress is installed in your web-root folder you would navigate to "public_html/wp-content/themes." I can go into File Manager fine, but I don't see this. I see a "public_html" folder, but nothing under it. The "public html" appears in the right window, but there's nothing that I can find to click on to open it. Please advise, thanks!

Wordpress 403 forbidden help? I was working with a backup plugin, that said the folder for my wordpress needed to be writeable. So I chmoded the folder from 644 to 666, and now my site is down. Wordpress Posting Issue? I have not touched my wordpress blog in 5 months. Now that I'm back trying to post in it, it doesn't work anymore. I can log into the blog, make a post, edit a post, appear to delete a post, BUT it doesn't show on the "Public" template side. It DOES however show on the standard Wordpress calendar/archive and history version, just not on my public published blog. I have not changed any coding or added any widgets. Trying to install wordpress 2.2 and Install.php will not open (Blank Screen), and ideas? I'm running IIS7 on Vista and just installed wordpress. webserver seems to be working fine. brings up my website I'm working on without any delay. That is everything except wordpress.
